We are excited to announced the release date of our brand new single ‘Break And Keel’ - Friday 10th May - with four shows to coincide with the release!
This single marks a new shift in the band’s sound, and has a rich, rockier edge from electric guitars - yes - Justin gets his Les Paul and it's also the first single to be written and sung by our drummer Cat Canteri!
Recorded by Sean Cook at Applewood Lane Studios in Queensland mid tour in October 2102, it was mixed by our very own Stillsons’ member Ben Franz, it was mastered by Adam Dempsey at Deluxe Mastering.
‘Break and Keel’ is released on iTunes, and for fans of the highest quality audio available, they can watch this site closer to Friday 10th May!

‘Never Go Your Way’ will be The Stillsons third LP, and will be released later this year. The majority of the album was recorded in October 2012 when the band was touring the East Coast.
Their sophomore release ‘Earnest’ not only established a solid national reputation, but also an international one, being played widely on BBC Radio 2, BBC Ulster, BBC Scotland, and being play listed on Radio NZ.
It was named ‘Album Of The Week’ by six different radio stations — ABC Radio Australia, ABC DIG, ABC Gold Coast, ABC Bendigo, Coast FM (NSW), and Radio Adelaide, and has been critically praised in the national press, earning “Best Of The Week” by The Sydney Morning Herald.
Their debut album ‘Circus’ was released in 2009, and featured the single and accompanying film clip ‘Charity and Ghosts (Where’s Your Mama Gone?)’.
The Stillsons is comprised of two singers - Justin Bernasconi (guitar) and Cat Canteri (drums), along with pedal steel guitarist Ben Franz and bassist Edmondo Ammendola (Augie March).
